I have a lifelong love for global exploration and finding new frontiers. I come from a long family history of expat life and international travel. Born in Greenwich, CT to “Pan-Am parents,” I was raised in Short Hills, N.J., prioritizing travel. I also spent time living abroad in high school (France) college (London) and graduate school (Thailand). Areas of interest have included Amnesty International and environmental issues, globally and locally.
I received my BA from Bucknell University and my Masters in Psychology from The American University. I then moved to Saigon, Vietnam for love, only to fall in love with expat life instead. It was also a fantastic springboard from which to explore Asia. I settled in New York City after that, becoming a published Sovereign Credit Analyst on Wall Street.
As a travel pioneer, I have been writing detailed travel diaries since age 12 and chronicling my trips with more captivating photographs than I can count. My travel stories have been published in The Rye Record, The Rye City Review, Global Living Magazine, Indagare Magazine, Eastern Surf Magazine, The Greenwich Citizen, The Examiner News, Bucknell Magazine and The Pingry Review.
Through my travel writing, I have reached a larger audience. And now, through departures by duBusc, based in Rye, New York, I’m offering travel services to help steer clients to their next thrilling adventure in Asia, Africa, Europe, South America, India, Cuba and Bermuda. Surf-focused trips are a passion of mine and my “when, why and how of travel” expertise includes personalized and inspired itineraries, creative travel tips, packing essentials and true time savers.
